She sings 'My Funny Valentine' with a Samba beat, adding little scat sections that is applauded by the audience."
Mwanza is a member in good standing with the San Geronimo Valley Lions, and is an Ambassador for the American Heart Association. She teaches Performance Development and voice privately.

The Richard Howell Quintet is a stellar all-star cast of artists featuring Richard Howell on saxophone and vocals, E.W. The only performer who specializes in blowing bubbles using only his hands, Sterling Johnson was trained as an engineer and a lawyer. His bubble blowing to entertain friends over 30 years ago has developed into a full stage show.
Sterling is the only person to ever put a bubble inside a bubble inside a bubble on stage without any straws or tubes, and the first person to walk completely through a bubble film. He explains it this way, "When a hand is soapy, you can slide it right into a bubble because the bubbles respond as if your hand is part of them. I had a fantasy of getting entirely soapy and walking into or out of a vey large bubble. We tried it at the second and third Exploratorium Bubble Festivals in the 1980s. I stripped down to my bathing suit and bathing cap, was drenched with detergent, and Richard Faverty waved huge bubbles over me as I attempted to walk out through the film. Although the bubble often popped just as my last foot was coming out, I got credit for having succeeded by the end."

With a voice like no other, Seaon's rising success as a solo artist comes as no surprise to many of us. Captivating our ears with an eclectic array of vocal affectations and an astounding depth of passion puts Seaon in a class all by himself. Within five seconds of hearing the sultry, smooth voice of this elegant artist, you know instantly your emotions are about to be erupted. "Seaon has an incredibly polished sound that is extremely rare in many vocalists of this era," says Grammy Award Nominee Kenny Lattimore. "I am amazed as to how refreshing and clean he sounds," adds Nicholas Cooper, vocal coach to many stars like Chante Moore & Maxwell.
Seaon was born and raised in the country of Georgetown Guyana where at a very early age, he sang in his Church choir while winning various talent showcases all over his country. He also demonstrated a promise as a successful recording artist as he was featured in many news magazines and countless television appearances. After migrating to the United States at the tender age of 16, his drive and passion were unsurpassed as he enrolled in New York University, majoring in Finance & Information Systems and a minor in music. While attending school by day, Seaon continued to record and perform by night in search of that golden opportunity to become the next best recording artist.

As a poet she has opened for Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Gary Snyder, and is a frequent headliner at poetry events in the Bay Area.
As LA TIGRESA AND THE TONGUES OF FLAME she performs spoken word with a jazz back-up band, featuring Pete Cornell on sax and flute (he has played with Lavay Smith, Dan Hicks, Austin DeLone) and Lee Elfenbein on stand-up bass (he played with nationally known comedienne/jazz singer Lea DeLaria, and trained at Berklee School of Music.)

Ms. Dawes has also been part of the ensemble cast in Black Repertory's presentation of the "The Mahalia Jackson Story" and "The Josephine Baker Story".
Her training as a dancer with Alice Arts Center as well as East Bay Dance Center has helped her as an understudy with Move Dance Company where she received further experience in the modern Jazz dance arena. She also danced and performed with Ruben Aponte's Dance Revu, a Latin Salsa dance company, as well as in an independent film entitled "Shut Up And Dance", where she played the role of a Tango dancer.
Her most current theatrical projects have been a tribute to great jazz legends through Vallejo Music Theater. A dancing and singing musical tribute to Fats Waller's "Ain't Misbehavin", and Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Ladies" where she played the role of the dancing Chanteuse.
A songwriter since her early teens, Cathey Cotten started her own label, MoonChaser Music in 1996 releasing "Dream and Decisions". Working as co-producer on her own recordings, Cathey partnered with artist-composer and engineer Stuart Horne on "Under the Covers" and her most recent release. Collaborations include songs written with many artists throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Born in Long Beach, California on April Fools Day, Cathey is the 3rd of 6 children. At age 9, she discovered Texas and met the true talent in her family, her father Tom. A Texas Blues Man, Tom Cotten was playing guitar and harmonica for several local Texas bands and quickly pulled Cathey into his world of Country Western, Honky Tonk and Texas Blues.
After "doing time" living in Texas, Cathey caught a bus back to California at the age of 15. That's when she truly found her voice while studying music theory at a Cypress College in So. Cal and began auditing every Jazz Ensemble and Big Band class she could sing her way into at Long Beach State, Cal State Fullerton and UCLA. Her tenacity and vocal range opened doors to performing with tenor sax player Pete Cristlieb along with other great LA jazz musicians and legendary musicians like Jules Brussard after moving to San Francisco in the late 80s.
Now, with dozens of original songs and music in her heart, Cathey can be heard singing with The Mighty Groove (Susan Copperman, Jim Cervantes, Chick Petersen, Greg Rocha and Neil St. Andrews) and other fun and talented musicians throughout the Bay Area.
